1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of services by The Social Hive (“we”, “us”, “our”) to clients (“you”, “your”).

By engaging our services, booking a discovery call, or entering into a service agreement, you agree to these terms.

2. Services

The Social Hive provides:

  • Virtual Assistant support

  • Website design (Wix-based)

  • Social media management

  • Systems and operational support

All services are tailored and agreed in writing prior to commencement.

3. Proposals & Agreements

Following a discovery call, you may receive a written proposal outlining:

  • Scope of work

  • Deliverables

  • Timelines

  • Investment

  • Payment terms

Work will not commence until written acceptance and payment (where applicable) is received.

4. Payment Terms

  • Ongoing retainers are billed monthly in advance unless otherwise agreed.

  • Project-based work may require a non-refundable deposit before work begins.

  • Final balances must be paid prior to project completion or launch.

  • Late payments may result in paused services.

All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide timely access to necessary accounts and platforms

  • Supply required content, branding materials, and information

  • Respond to communications within reasonable timeframes

  • Review and approve work promptly

Delays in providing materials may impact timelines.

6. Intellectual Property

Website designs and deliverables become the client’s property upon full payment, unless otherwise agreed.

The Social Hive reserves the right to:

  • Showcase completed work in portfolio and marketing materials

  • Reference completed projects for promotional purposes

Client data and confidential materials will never be shared without consent.

7. Confidentiality

All business information shared during our working relationship will be treated as confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties unless required by law.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Social Hive will not be held liable for:

  • Business losses

  • Loss of revenue or profits

  • Third-party platform outages (e.g. Wix, Instagram, CRM systems)

  • Algorithm changes impacting social media performance

All services are provided with professional care, but outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate an ongoing agreement with written notice, in accordance with the terms outlined in the individual service contract.

Outstanding balances must be settled before termination is finalised.

10. Amendments

These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time. The latest version will always be available on this website.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
